A small Peperomia with thick, folded leaves on an upright, orange-brown stem. Each leaf is bright green with a dark green stripe along the fold. The leaves sit close together all the way up the stem.
The thick leaves store water, so it handles a missed watering well. Let the soil dry out completely before watering. Bright, indirect light is best. It also copes with a dimmer spot, where it grows more slowly. Keep it above 15 °C.
Grows slowly on upright stems and stays small, about 15 to 20 cm tall. It fits on a windowsill, a shelf or a desk.
Peperomias grow wild in the tropical forests of Central and South America. Non-toxic to cats and dogs. Ships in a 6 cm pot.
