An Aglaonema with camouflage-patterned leaves in three shades: dark green, bright green and a silvery pale green. The patches cover the whole leaf, and every leaf has a different pattern.
Water when the top few centimetres of soil are dry, and don't let it dry out completely. Bright, indirect light is best. It also copes with a dimmer spot, where it grows more slowly. Keep it above 18 °C and away from draughts. It needs humid air: in dry air the leaf tips turn brown.
Grows slowly into an upright, leafy plant about 30 cm tall. New leaves come from the centre, one at a time.
Native to the forest floor of Sumatra. Toxic to cats and dogs. Ships in a 6 cm pot.
