Small green leaves with a net of white veins. It grows into a low, dense cushion that fills the pot.
Keep the soil slightly moist. If it dries out, the plant goes limp, but it recovers within a few hours after watering. Bright, indirect light is best, but a darker spot is fine too. It likes warmth and humidity, so a bathroom or kitchen works well. Keep it above 16 °C.
It spreads sideways rather than growing tall: about 10 to 15 cm high and up to 30 cm wide. Pinch off the tips now and then to keep it bushy.
Native to the rainforests of Peru. Non-toxic to cats and dogs. Ships in a 6 cm pot.
